FAQ

Are there any upfront recruiting or contract fees?

There are no upfront fees. Once you sign our MSA, we may require an initial refundable Matching Services deposit to start the Talent Matching process and begin working with your new Talent, but that deposit would be deducted from your first invoice once Matched Talent begins working with you.

What is your Flexible Talent guarantee?

We guarantee all of our Talent Matches. If at any time a customer is unhappy with their Talent, the Customer Success Team will work to make things right and provide a new Talent Match – or Re-Match – at no additional cost to the customer.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with my Talent?

While we rigorously screen all applicants to ensure we have the top Flexible Talent in our Talent Network, we understand that not all Matched Talent will be the perfect fit every time. For this reason, we guarantee all our Talent Matches. If at any time a customer is unhappy with their Matched Talent, the Customer Success Team will work to make things right and Match new Talent at no additional cost to the customer, we call this a Re-Match.

How is FlexTal™ different?

Many organizations are faced with the challenges of finding trusted, Flexible Talent. FlexTal uses advanced technologies and a rigorous vetting process to match Flexible Talent. In almost all cases, we can match Talent within 7-10 days, and 98% of our customers activate Work Assignments with the first candidate we Match.

We thoroughly vet every applicant to ensure we only Match only top, elite Talent with customers.

How do you vet your Talent?

Our vetting process allows us to guarantee all our Talent. All applicants must undergo an extensive screening process that measures emotional intelligence, domain expertise, industry experience, and professional skills. To ensure all our Talent meets our standards, the process typically takes 2-5 weeks.

Where is your Talent located?

While the majority of our Talent is located in North America, we do offer Matches with Talent in over 100 countries. If you are looking for Regional, Domestic, Near-Shore, or Off-Shore Talent, we can work with you to find the best Match to fit your needs.

Can I bring Talent on-site?

If this is a requirement, we can add that to the Match criteria. We can also work with you to coordinate relocating Talent to your location if that is part of the contract or Work Assignment.

If there isn’t Talent currently available to fulfill the requirements of my work request, how long should I expect to wait for the right person?

Typically, a Talent Match takes 7-10 days. When your project requires more specialized or nuanced skills, we may need longer to find the perfect Match. We understand your immediate needs, but the most successful Matches are based on meeting the project’s criteria with high quality Talent. FlexTal’s recruiting, vetting, and interview process is a key factor that allows us to guarantee our Talent Matches, and sometimes that process takes time. No matter how long the process takes – from a few hours to a few weeks – our Customer Success Team will communicate with you throughout the Matching process and keep you aprized of the progress.

What happens if my Talent is unavailable for the days or times they are scheduled to work with me?

At the start of any engagement, it is important to discuss expectations and schedules. Our Customer Success Team will work with you and the Talent to ensure you’ve communicated a timetable and weekly commitments that are acceptable for both parties. We understand dependability is a top priority, so if you ever run into a situation where the Talent is unavailable for pre-scheduled encounters, your Customer Success Manager will work with you and the Talent to quickly return to alignment on commitments and expectations. However, in the unlikely circumstance that things become untenable, we will work to get you a Talent Re-Match as quickly as possible.

Can I hire a full-time Talent from FlexTal™ and bring him/her into our company?

Yes. While we specialize in short- and long-term 1099 Staffing engagements, we also have easy ways to convert contracted Talent into a full-time employee if both parties agree to that arrangement.

Do you offer vetting and testing to help us hire Talent outside of the FlexTal™ network?

This is not something we offer as an external service. We would be happy, however, to add recommended Talent to our Flexible Talent Network and allow you to work with them through our platform once they’ve made it through our vetting and interview process.

Who owns the legal rights to the work created by FlexTal™ Talent?

The customer. FlexTal focuses on providing world-class Talent to the customers who want to work with them – not intellectual property. Our contracts provide that all work created by our contractors is the property of the customer, not FlexTal™ or the Talent.

How do we ensure that our IP is protected?

FlexTal enters into work agreements with every member of our Talent network. Through these agreements, FlexTal obtains exclusive ownership of the work created by the FlexTal Talent that works with you. We then provide you with the intellectual property for the work that the FlexTal Talent creates for you under our client agreement. This clean, simple, pass-through arrangement has worked well for our customers for many years. However, if you would like our Talent to enter into a direct agreement with you to effect the direct transfer of IP property, we can work with you to ensure that your needs are met.

How much does FlexTal™ cost?

FlexTal offers short- and long-term engagements. We also work with Talent worldwide. Therefore, pricing varies based on several factors. We will work with you to find the right price point for your needs.

How often will I be charged? How are payments and invoices handled?

We primarily offer two types of Work Assignments, Fixed Rate and Hourly. Fixed Rate contracts are typically invoiced monthly, while Hourly work is tracked weekly and billed twice a month. In either billing model, invoices are due upon receipt.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept most major credit cards, ACH, and bank wire transfers.
